During the 2021 epidemic, Leeko's technical director Jin Dongzhe was deeply anxious because his wife could not go to the beauty salon for LDM treatments, and he came up with the idea of developing a portable beauty instrument. As a result, the SDM water drop lifting beauty instrument came into being and was launched in September 2024.

After the epidemic, his wife felt that the wired curling iron was inconvenient to carry with her when she went on vacation to Hawaii, California, Vietnam and other places. In response, Jin Dongzhe led the team to quickly invest in research and development and launched a lighter and easier-to-carry wireless hairdressing tool.

Since then, Leeko has focused on innovating and creating portable, Type-C globally universal beauty and hairdressing equipment, so that each product can be integrated into the customer's daily life and become a true intimate companion, rather than an idle decoration.
